Triton Carnival Company Crowned Carnival 2026 Champions

Triton Carnival Company have officially been crowned Malta Carnival Champions for 2026, with their ‘Monopoly’ themed float creating larger-than-life-sized figures of Maltese personalities.

The Ilgħab u Mexxi, Ixtri u Tirnexxi float bagged the Karrijiet Trijonfali Sezzjoni ‘A’ category and saw iconic personalities like Gawdenz Bilocca, Eileen Montesin, Jamie Cardona and more, all being overseen by Mister Monopoly.

The float captures the characters of all these personalities to link the Maltese tradition of carnival with that of local television.

Speaking with Malta Daily, Brandon from Triton Carnival explained that this float brought together all the best qualities from previous carnival floats.
