Tributes Pour In For Sebastian Schembri After Fatal Triq Ħal Far Crash

Sebastian Schembri was identified as the 34 year old Bormla resident who sadly passed away this past weekend after a motorcycle on truck collision in Ħal Far.

The incident took place in Triq Ħal Far, with the bicycle, driven y Schembri, crashing into a truck driven by a 63 year old man from Żurrieq.

Tributes soon flooded social media for the late Schembri, expressing their sorrow and disbelief at his sudden passing.

‘Yesterday, I lost someone who was so much more than a friend. You were my brother, my family and someone who held a special place in my heart’, wrote a friend, Christian Aquilina.

Another friend, Franco Mallia, also paid tribute, writing:

‘Dear Bastjan. I cannot believe I am writing these words about you, instead of messaging you to start our day together. You had just messaged me and we spoke as we do everyday. You were always there for me. My life changed without you.’
