The Malta Police Union announced with deep sorrow the passing of young PC 703 Rico Aquilina.
‘Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time’, the union wrote.
Tributes poured in for the late police constable, describing him as a kind soul dedicated to his work.
