They were followed by the 45 to 64 age group with 583,255 visitors.

In third place were travellers aged 0 to 24, amounting to 345,850, while those aged 65 and over made up the smallest group with 215,234 tourists.

Despite being the smallest demographic, the 65+ age group recorded the highest growth rate, increasing by 25.2% compared to the same period last year.

The 45 to 64 age group followed with an 18.3% rise. In contrast, the slowest growth was seen in the 0 to 24 age category, which grew by just 5.8%.

The average length of stay remained consistent at just under six nights. However, there was a notable 14.4% increase in the number of visitors who stayed for more than seven nights on the Islands.
