“Tomorrow I Will Be Presenting Our Vision For This Country” – Alex Borg

At a political event in Sliema on the eve of his official response to Budget 2026, Nationalist Party (PN) Leader Alex Borg declared that tomorrow in Parliament he will outline the Nationalist Party’s vision for Malta and demonstrate that it is ready to serve as an alternative government.

“Tomorrow I will be presenting our vision for this country,” said Borg. “In Parliament, I will be speaking on behalf of those who are suffering, those who need help, and those who long to see new hope in this country on behalf of those this Government has forgotten. Tomorrow I will be showing how, whenever the election comes, the Partit Nazzjonalista is ready to be an alternative government.”

Speaking at Pjazza Sant’Anna in Sliema, Borg was interviewed by MaltaDaily Chief Operations Officer and Editor Keane Cutajar as part of the latest Qrib Tagħkom event, held on the eve of the parliamentary debate on Budget 2026.
