Today Is The Final Day Of The Heatwave

Today is the last day of summer 2026’s first official heatwave!
Temperatures are still set to feel like 43°C, so we’re not in the clear just yet! A weather warning is still in effect, so please make sure you’re protected with sunscreen, hydrated and avoid the peak sun hours.
Temperatures are expected to go down as the week progresses, with this upcoming weekend bringing in temperatures as high as 30°C, but will still feel as hot as 33°C.
According to It-Temp Madwarna, Malta also reached a new record for July at 43.3°C!
