The UNESCO World Heritage site boasts a rich history that speaks to Maltese ingenuity and culture.
Valletta Football Club took to social media to celebrate the big day, writing:
‘Our hearts swell with pride as we reflect on the incredible legacy of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, a testament to the vision and resilience of our forefathers.’
Describing the city as meticulously planned, beautifully crafted and steeped in centuries of history, the club urged locals to take a moment and appreciate the extraordinary heritage that surrounds us.
