Thunderstorms And Colder Temperatures Hitting Malta This Weekend

Malta is expected to experience a change in weather this weekend, with thundery showers forecast for Saturday and Sunday, according to the Malta Meteorological Office.

The weekend forecast indicates that Friday will start mild, before clouds gradually roll in during the afternoon.

Conditions are expected to become worse over the following days as cloud cover and the chance of thunderstorms increases. The wind is also likely to pick up across the weekend, especially during the expected storms.

Temperatures will drop slightly, with maximums reaching 23°C on Friday and around 21°C for the rest of the weekend. At night, minimum temperatures are forecast to remain around 15°C. Meanwhile, sea temperatures are around 23°C, approximately 2°C above the usual level for this time of year.
