Three Men Injured After Scaffolding They Were On Collapses In Marsa

Today, at around 1515hrs, police were informed that their assistance was needed in a recycling site in Triq il-Belt Valletta, Marsa.
Police convened on site and preliminary investigations showed that three men aged 40, 27 and 23, all residents of St Paul’s Bay, had been injured after a scaffolding collapsed.
Civil Protection Malta and a medical team convened on site and transported the persons to Mater Dei Hospital.
The 40 year old and the 23 year old suffered from grievous injuries, with the condition of the other man is still pending.
Investigations, by the police and the Authority for Health and Safety on the Workplace, are still ongoing.
