‘This Was Not The Plan Malta Was Waiting For’: Alex Borg On Malta In Motion

In a statement shared to social media, Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg said that the Malta in Motion transport plan was not what the Maltese people were expecting.

People have been expecting a plan for a while, Borg said, but instead the Labour government proposed a half-baked plan.

‘After what we saw yesterday, I am convinced that the government does not have the will to fulfil this plan’, continued the Opposition leader.

‘How can you pretend to have a solution when you tell people to wait for another fifteen years?’

This plan, he said, leaves too many questions and too many people out of the question.

The Nationalist Party criticised the plan, saying that under Labour, Malta will remain stuck in traffic.

According to the party, the proposals announced will not deliver real change within a reasonable timeframe.
