This Is What Valletta's 'Strada Stretta' Looked Like In The 1970s

A photo posted to local Facebook group ‘Nostalgia Malta’ shows the country’s well known ‘Strada Stretta’ back in the 70s.

The blast from the past, posted by Lino Maniscalco, was captured on the 13th of January in 1972.

‘Strada Stretta,’ also known as Strait Street in Valletta is now an area of Malta’s capital city which bustles with night life and bars, while still maintaining the city’s historical charm.

Many commented on the post recalling how it used to be in the past; a place where people raised families and played in the streets.
