A new trend is taking over social media as people put their photos into ChatGPT, asking the artificial intelligence to transform their look, as if they were in the 80s.
Is-Servizz Pubbliku hopped onto the hype yesterday, leading to ChatGPT producing an image of what Malta looked like around 40 years ago.
However, they stated that the AI “went a bit off the rails.”
Instead, they took to social media to share real images taken in Malta in the 1980s, taken from the archives of the Department of Information.
“In a separate post, we asked ChatGPT what it thought we looked like the 80s, but it went somewhat off the rails,” shared Is-Servizz Pubbliku, “Because of this, we are releasing a set of real pictures from the DOI archives.”
