The Department of Information (DOI) shared an old photo of people on the Malta Airport balcony which allowed relatives and loved ones to either salute or welcome back travellers.
The balcony was an iconic spot at the airport, with many making use of it back in the day to either say their final farewell or welcome someone from abroad.
