These Are the Labour Party Women Elected Through the Gender Quota

The six Labour Party women elected to Parliament through the gender quota mechanism have now been confirmed following the conclusion of all casual elections.
This marks the second time Malta has implemented the gender quota system, which allocates up to 12 additional seats to ensure that no gender holds less than 40% representation in Parliament.
The women elected through this mechanism are Fleur Abela, Francesca Zarb, Romilda Zarb, Yana Borg Debono Grech, Deborah Schembri, and Cressida Galea.
