The Rocky Horror Show Is Taking Over the MCC for Three Nights This Halloween

This Halloween, one of musical theatre’s most iconic cult experiences is taking over Valletta as The Rocky Horror Show hits the Mediterranean Conference Centre for three nights only.

Taking place on 30 and 31 October and 1 November 2026, the production is being staged by Arthaus and the Mediterranean Conference Centre, bringing Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock musical to life with an accomplished Maltese cast, a live five-piece band and an extensive creative team.

Leading the cast is Joseph Zammit as Dr Frank-N-Furter, joined by Cliff Zammit Stevens as Brad, Talitha Dimech as Janet, David Ellul as Rocky, Neil Cutajar as Eddie and Dr Scott, Stephen Oliver as the Narrator, Andrew Buhagiar as Riff Raff, Bettina Mattocks as Magenta, Bertha Farrugia as Columbia and Francesca Scerri as the Usherette, alongside 11 Phantoms.

But Rocky Horror is far more than your typical night at the theatre. Audience participation is a major part of its worldwide cult following, with guests encouraged to dress up, learn the Time Warp and join in with the famous audience callbacks throughout the performance.

That combination of live rock ’n’ roll, outrageous costumes, comedy, choreography and audience interaction makes this a particularly fitting must-attend experience for Halloween weekend.
