"The Quick Fix" Returns For Two More Weekends Of Performances

Following the play's opening weekend and a fantastic response from audiences, Mostly Harmless Productions' latest comedy, The Quick Fix, returns to Theatre Next Door in Naxxar for two more weekends of performances.
Featuring John Montanaro, James Ryder and Jes Camilleri, this dark comedy follows three friends whose financial troubles lead them down a rather questionable path involving football, a big bet and a plan that could go spectacularly wrong.
Set in a struggling English pub, the story centres on TJ, a landlord and former footballer; Daz, an enthusiastic supplier of dubious schemes; and Kev, who would quite like somebody to explain why any of this is a good idea.
With bills mounting and options dwindling, the prospect of one big payday becomes increasingly difficult to resist. All they need is for one little thing to happen in a football match. How hard can that possibly be?
What follows is a fast-paced, darkly comic tale of friendship, desperation, divided loyalties and the remarkable ability of otherwise sensible people to talk themselves into trouble.
Written and produced by Mostly Harmless Productions, The Quick Fix combines sharp dialogue, unexpected twists and plenty of laughs, offering audiences an entertaining night at the theatre.
No football expertise is required, though experience of regrettable decisions may help. There are just six nights of performances remaining, from November 6-8 and form November 13-15. Performances begin at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 7pm on Sundays.
Tickets are available at www.fmt.com.mt/tnd.
The production is intended for mature audiences.
Three men. One pub. One supposedly brilliant plan. What could possibly go wrong?
