The Phoenicia Malta Once Again Among World’s Best Hotels 2025

For the third consecutive year, The Phoenicia Malta has been recognised in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards and remains the only hotel in the Maltese Islands to feature among this year’s global winners.

The Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards are among the most prestigious in the travel industry, celebrating the world’s top hotels, resorts, islands and cities as voted by the magazine’s readers.

This year, Valletta was also ranked the number one city in the world, further highlighting Malta’s growing reputation on the global travel map.

Millions of travellers take part in the survey each year, sharing their experiences to create a trusted list that reflects the finest in global hospitality.

The Phoenicia Malta’s continued presence in these awards confirms its standing among a select group of properties that consistently set the standard for luxury and guest satisfaction.

It is one of only three hotels worldwide to have maintained its position in this category since 2023, improving its ranking and featuring alongside world-renowned hotels in Stockholm, St Moritz, Amsterdam and Vienna.
