“The Malta Adventure”: Famous Historian Visits For St Angelo

Dan Snow, a famous historian and TV presenter, is currently in Malta exploring the island’s vast history.

Starting off at Fort St Angelo, Snow explained in an Instagram post how the structure used to act as the headquarters for the Knights of St John, and eventually, for the His Britannic Majesty’s Royal Navy in the Mediterranean.

In a short yet informative caption, the founder of ‘History Hit,’ referred to Fort St Angelo as “a military nerve centre” during times of war.

“It withstood the mighty Ottoman war machine. It withstood the Axis in WW2. It’s a place where history has happened,” he explained.

Snow shared some more snapshots of what he referred to as “the Malta adventure,” so we can only hope to see more unfold in the coming days.
