The Lifestar Malta Marathon Has Officially Begun!

The Lifestar Malta Marathon has officially begun this morning, with many participants set to run either 42 KM or 21 KM in the coming hours!

The marathon is expected to last till around 3pm, with participants starting off in Rabat and ending in Sliema.

Alongside the runners, there’s also the 21K Walkathon and the Charity 5K run.

Authorities are urging drivers to avoid the following areas in the allocated times:

Rabat/Mtarfa - 6:00am - 8:30am

Mosta/Ta’ Qali - 7:00am - 10:00am

Ħ’Attard/L-Imrieħel bypass/Marsa - 8:15am - 11:30am

Ħal Qormi/Ħamrun Bypass - 8:30am - 11:30 am

Marsa/Valletta - 8:30am - 11:30 am

Pieta seafront/Msida seafront - 8:30am - 11:45am

Ta’ Xbiex/Gżira seafront - 6:45am - 12:00pm

Tigne seafront - 4:00am - 3:00pm
