THE LABOUR PARTY PRESENTS 72 CANDIDATES FOR UPCOMING GENERAL ELECTION

Prime Minister and Labour Party leader Robert Abela addressed the nation as the Labour Party officially presented the 72 candidates who will contest this year’s general election.
Describing the group as the party’s “largest team of candidates”, PL said the list brings together individuals from different sectors of society, with varied professional backgrounds and experience across a wide range of fields.
The party highlighted that nearly 40% of the candidates are women, while also pointing to what it described as a strong presence of young candidates alongside experienced figures.
PL said the team combines “energy, new ideas and knowledge” aimed at continuing work towards what it called a “better Malta.”
During the presentation, the party stressed that all candidates are united by a common goal of improving the lives of Maltese and Gozitan families, making life easier, better and more beautiful for the country’s residents.
