Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, sat down with the UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer yesterday for a meeting about the relationship between the European Union and the United Kingdom.
With a post on her social media, President Metsola shared images from the meeting, stating that “now this is the time to shape a partnership that reflects the world as it is, not as it once was.”
She emphasised that the future between the EU and the UK “must be built on stronger links that benefit all our people.”
