The Countdown Is On: Mużika Mużika 2026 is One Week Away!

Just one week remains until the 6th edition of Mużika Mużika takes centre stage once again, celebrating the very best of Maltese-language music.

With the festival fast approaching, participating singers are currently deep in rehearsals, preparing their songs and performances for what promises to be another unforgettable spectacle. Over the past few weeks, artists have been fine-tuning every detail of their entries, building excitement for three nights dedicated entirely to Maltese music.

This year’s edition will take place on 19, 20 and 21 March, with the festival broadcast live at 9pm for audiences across Malta and Gozo. For the first time ever, Mużika Mużika will be shown on TVM, ONE, F Living Channel and Smash TV, expanding its reach even further and strengthening its status as a true national event. The festival will also be broadcast with sign language on TVM+, helping make the celebration of Maltese culture more accessible to everyone.

Last year’s edition reached over 390,000 viewers, and with this expanded coverage, this year’s festival is expected to reach an even wider audience.
