The Busker Release Most Introspective Single Yet With ‘Un/Loveable’

Maltese band The Busker has unveiled their most introspective release to date with their new single, Un/Loveable. The track delves into the deeply human fear of being unlovable, exploring the darker aspects of our psyche that often lead us to believe false narratives about our own worth.
Through its poignant lyrics, Un/Loveable examines how unprocessed experiences can leave emotional scars that shape self-perception. These internal bruises can distort a person’s sense of self-worth, making it difficult to recognise the positive qualities and value they bring to the world.
Drawing from personal experience, The Busker reflects on moments where low self-esteem diminished their sense of worth. The song encourages reflection and healing, reminding listeners that through the eyes of others, they may hold far more value than they allow themselves to see.
The project is brought to life visually in collaboration with Lorella Castillo. In the music video, each band member confronts and expresses their own insecurities, both physical and emotional, adding a layer of vulnerability and authenticity to the release.
Un/Loveable will be available on all streaming platforms from 31st March 2026. The project is supported by Arts Council Malta.
