The Armed Forces Of Malta Carry Out Minute Of Silence For Remembrance Day

Today, on the 11th November 2025, the Armed Forces of Malta commemorated Remembrance Day by participating in an hour of silence at 11:00 a.m.

“At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – we will remember them,” they stated on their social media.

“A minute of silence was held today to honour those who gave their lives in both World Wars in the quest for peace. This moment allows us to pause and reflect to acknowledge the sacrifices made and remember those who have no known grave.”

Observed across the Commonwealth, Remembrance Day pays tribute to the soldiers, sailors, and airmen who lost their lives during war and conflict, particularly since the First World War. It stands as a reminder of the price of freedom and the enduring value of peace.

Through this annual act of remembrance, the AFM reaffirms its deep commitment to service, duty, and national memory.
