TECHXPO Malta, organised by the Ministry for Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects and MDIA, have quickly established itself as a key fixture in the country’s innovation calendar. Since debuting in 2023, the expo has become a national stage for Malta’s latest advancements in emerging tech from Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation to a growing landscape of home-grown solutions.

Bringing together industry leaders, government bodies and tech experts, the event offers a look at Malta’s digital future. This year’s theme, Connecting Innovation. Shaping Tomorrow., highlights the technologies transforming our lives and work. TECHXPO 2025 will be held from 20 to 22 November at MFCC Ta’ Qali.

Visitors start by entering the fast-changing world of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, where AI is shown as a real, active force. From personalised apps to automated systems speeding up manufacturing and deliveries, these exhibits show how AI is quietly changing how we live, work, and communicate.

Next is the vibrant world of Immersive and Experiential Technologies, the most exciting part of the expo. Attendees can try Augmented Reality tools that add digital objects to their surroundings, explore Virtual Reality for gaming and training, and test Mixed Reality that blends physical and digital worlds.

As technology moves forward, protecting it becomes vital. The expo covers Cybersecurity and Digital Trust, where experts explain the methods and tools that keep personal data and devices safe from growing online threats.

Visitors will then explore The Future of Connected Infrastructure. Hands-on displays of Smart Home and Smart City tech show how sensors, devices, and 5G work together to create smarter public services, efficient cities, and homes that truly think for themselves.
