Take The Bus On The 20th Of December And Contribute To L-istrina's Cause

Malta Public Transport will hold the ninth edition of Tallinja għal L-Istrina on Saturday, 20th December 2025, once again supporting L-istrina through its long-standing collaboration with the Office of the President. The initiative aims to raise funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF), with contributions linked to passenger journeys throughout the day.

Felipe Cosmen, Chairman of Malta Public Transport, encouraged the public to take part by choosing to travel by bus on the day. "Using the bus on 20th December is an easy, collective act that can translate into real help for families who rely on the efforts of MCCF. We are proud to support the Office of the President and the MCCF in the best way we can," he said.

Malta Public Transport will make a donation for every passenger trip made, including journeys taken under the free public transport shceme. The company has already contributed more than €336,000 to the MCCF since the iniative began in 2016.
