Wrecks are oases of marine life, wrote marine biologist Alan Deidun.

Sharing footage of the sunken P29, filmed by David Agius, he explained how this vessel was scuttled in 2007 and is located pff the north-western coast of Malta.

The ship is now colonised by brown algae known as Sargassum, turning it into a marine life safe haven and a sight for divers.
