Ta’ Qali National Park Ready To Host 44th Edition Of Farsons Beer Festival

Ta' Qali National Park is set to welcome thousands of visitors once again as it hosts the 44th edition of the Farsons Beer Festival, one of the largest and most popular events in Malta's summer calendar.

Running from Thursday 23 July until Saturday 1 August, the festival will offer ten consecutive evenings of entertainment, bringing together live music, food, drinks, shopping and family activities in one location.

Organisers expect the event to attract large numbers of locals and tourists, further reinforcing Ta' Qali National Park's role as a venue for major national events.

Ahead of the festival's opening, Minister for Local Government and Public Works Alison Zerafa Civelli visited the park to inspect the final preparations.

She was accompanied by Ta' Qali National Park Chairman Jason Micallef and Farsons Group Business Support Manager Brian Vella.

During the visit, Minister Zerafa Civelli said Ta' Qali National Park has continued to establish itself as one of Malta's leading public spaces, capable of hosting large scale events that attract thousands of visitors each year.

She said the Government's investment in the park has transformed it into a modern and accessible venue that supports entertainment, economic activity and Malta's tourism offering.

Jason Micallef said the preparations for the festival reflect the ongoing work being carried out to ensure the park remains an attractive, accessible and welcoming space for the public throughout the year.

Brian Vella said this year's festival will feature a wide selection of more than 40 local and international beers, including ciders, craft beers and gluten free options.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy performances across the Main Stage, Rock Stage and Casa Electronica, with a programme featuring both Maltese and international artists.

The festival will also include an artisan market, a variety of food outlets and a dedicated children's area designed to provide a safe environment for families.

Admission is free, with the festival opening daily at 8pm. Visitors will have access to two large car parks surrounding the venue, as well as a Park and Ride service operating from the Basketball Pavilion.
