Ta' Ġieżu Church Pays Emotional Tribute To Young Nadab John Following Tragic Death

Knisja Ta' Ġieżu – Patrijiet Franġiskani in Valletta has paid tribute to young Nadab John following his tragic death after experiencing difficulty while swimming at Xgħajra.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the church remembered Nadab as a devoted altar server who always sought to be close to Jesus. "You wanted to serve the altar to be close to Jesus and now you are in His eternal presence," the message read.

The Franciscans also offered prayers for Nadab's grieving parents, brother and sister, as well as everyone mourning his untimely passing. They called on Nadab to pray for the Urdu Catholic Community, expressing hope that it would continue to grow while remaining united in faith and love.

The church said Nadab's memory would always remain alive within the Ta' Ġieżu community, adding that he would be deeply missed by all who knew him. The tribute has prompted an outpouring of condolences from the wider community.
