Swieqi Deputy Mayor Calls For Paceville Reform After Beach Fight Video

Deputy mayor of Swieqi Jordan Galea Pace shared a video shared to social media showing a fight taking place on St George’s Bay in Paceville, with a massive crowd encircling the fighting individuals.

‘I’ve said it to every authority in Malta: Paceville needs reform’, said Galea Pace. ‘Not with grand promises, but with practical solutions that make a real difference to residents’ quality of life.’

He suggested a number of measures that could see this come to fruition, such as a phased closing period, public restrooms, better representation on the Paceville committee, and real consultation.

‘Paceville is one of Malta’s biggest economic assets. It shouldn’t come at the expense of the people who call the surrounding localities home.’
