Students Visit Malta Vision 2050 In Valletta

Education Minister Clifton Grima and Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation Keith Azzopardi Tanti accompanied students from Ħamrun Secondary School Lyceum on a visit to the immersive experience Vision Malta 2050.
This installation presents the country’s long-term national development plans. The interactive exhibition allows visitors to explore Malta’s future through innovative and immersive technology, showcasing ideas linked to sustainable development, education, innovation and opportunities for future generations.
During the visit, Grima said the initiative offers young people an important opportunity to better understand how the country is planning for the future and how they can play a role in shaping it.
He encouraged more students to visit the experience to discover the opportunities being created for them.
Azzopardi Tanti highlighted the role of innovation in Malta’s economy, noting that today’s students should see themselves as tomorrow’s innovators.
The Vision Malta 2050 framework also emphasises education reform, including stronger focus on STEAM subjects and vocational pathways aligned with emerging industries.
