Students Face Difficulties Accessing MATSEC Results as Online Portal Experiences Issues

Several students have reported difficulties accessing their MATSEC examination results after the new online portal system experienced technical issues on results day.
MATSEC had announced that O Level, A Level and Intermediate results would be released throughout the day through its online portal, which students are accessing using their e-ID. However, a number of students said they were unable to view their results due to problems with the system.
Some users shared screenshots showing an error message stating: “Data not available. Check internet connection or try again later,” while others reported that the results page failed to load altogether and a massive system error message.
This is the first year that MATSEC results are being published exclusively through the online portal, with around 9,000 candidates expected to access their grades throughout the day. Approximately 5,200 students sat for their O Level examinations, while around 3,700 candidates completed A Level or Intermediate exams.
The technical difficulties have caused frustration among students who had been eagerly waiting for their results after months of preparation and hard work.
As students continue attempting to access the system, many are awaiting further updates regarding the portal issues and the availability of their results.
