Student Attacked With Sharp Object At Gozo Secondary School

A student was reportedly attacked with a sharp object by another school in an educational institution in Gozo.
Clifton Grima, Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, confirmed the incident in a press release, stating that school officials immediately intervened and ensured student safety.
Police investigations are still underway in order to determine the nature of the incident, and to ensure all necessary steps are taken.
Minister Grima reminded that an Advisory Board is in place, aimed at offering the Ministry of Education frameworks and strategies regarding behavioural control.
A similar incident occurred back in early December when a student was stabbed at Saint Clare College in Pembroke, Malta.
