Structure Fire Breaks Out At Old Matches Factory In Marsa

Last night, Civil Protection Malta responded to a structure fire which broke out in Marsa.
Firefighters from Stations 1, 2 and 4 responded the emergency, where the old matches factory caught fire.
After the fire was extinguished, officials searched the property for any hazardous materials due to the building’s former industrial use. None was found.
Additionally, no injuries were reported.
Civil Protection Malta thanked the Malta Police Force and Transport Malta for their assistance in controlling the incident.
