Video shared by Maltese Islands Weather show the big waves battering the Maltese coastline as winds pick up Force, reaching Force 8 overnight.
Another video was shared to TikTok by @malta_memes_site, showing the same situation at another coastline.
This comes with a wind warning as very strong West Northwest winds are expecting to hit gale force over the exposed areas of the islands.
Rain showers are also expected to sporadically hit throughout this Sunday, with the weather supposedly calming down starting this upcoming week.
