Streets Filled With Colour & Floats For Ħamrun Carnival 2026

Another successful edition of the Ħamrun Carnival was held this Sunday, as the streets of the locality were filled with colour, costumes and floats.
Photos captured by David Mallia show the massive turnout that, year after year, brings creativity and jubilation to the streets of Ħamrun as Carnival week officially kicks off.
Carnival celebrations in Malta are organised by Festivals Malta and are set to peak this upcoming weekend with various activities, competitions and, of course, the spontaneous Nadur Carnival.
Ħamrun’s mayor Christian Sammut thanked all those who attended, saying that year after year the carnival continues to grow and strengthen.
