According to weather forecasts, today, Tuesday 16th and Friday 19th December are set to see the Maltese islands hit with thundery rain showers, with a bit of respite in the middle.
With temperatures feeling like 18 degrees Celsius, we are in for some downpours, with the showers potentially continuing into Saturday.
A weather warning has also been issued as the Southeast wind, which will gradually veer South Southwest, is set to be strong at times over the exposed areas of the Maltese islands.
