‘Stilel Taħt Il-Kampnar’ Returns To Mqabba In 2026

The third edition of ‘Stilel Taħt il-Kampnar’ has been launched in Mqabba, featuring a fireworks display synchronised to music by the BrassHouse Unit. The event will present an evening of music and entertainment designed for the whole family.
Following the success of last year’s church projection show, the 2026 edition will build on the experience through collaboration between the two local band clubs and the Mqabba Local Council.
Minister for Culture, Lands and Local Government Owen Bonnici said that events such as ‘Stilel Taħt il-Kampnar’ reflect the energy and talent within local communities while strengthening Maltese cultural traditions. He added that the Government remains committed to supporting initiatives that bring people together and create meaningful experiences for families.
Grace Marie Zerafa, Mayor of Mqabba, said that following the success of the previous edition, the event has been expanded further. She confirmed that the third edition will take place on Saturday 2 May and thanked the Ministry for Culture, Lands and Local Government, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government and VisitMalta for their continued support.
The public can expect a line-up including Slavin Col, Sadie, Kraylee, Amy Farrugia, Lisa Gauci and the Brass House Unit, along with performances by Ludwig, Drakard, Gloriana and Michael. The evening will conclude with a DJ set by Sue. The fireworks display will be presented by St Mary’s Fireworks Factory and Lily Fireworks Factory.
‘Stilel Taħt il-Kampnar 2026’ will take place on Saturday 2 May from 18:30 onwards, bringing the community together for a celebration of music, tradition and spectacle.
