Speaker Confirms Parliament Might Be Getting Child Care Services

Recently elected Speaker of the House Carmelo Abela announced that Malta’s Parliament might be getting child care services.
With non-full time Members of Parliament, a child care service would greatly aid those MPs who are parents of young children.
The MPs would be able to bring their children to the service so that they can be cared for as they fulfil their political roles.
Abela said that as a parliament the best effort should be made to help these politicians with kids balance their multiple responsibilities safely and sustainably, whether familial or political.
