Speaker Anġlu Farrugia Reaffirms Malta–Poland Ties in Talks Focused on Peace and Cooperation

Yesterday, the Speaker of the Hose of Representatives, Anġlu Farrugia, met with members of the Poland-Malta Parliamentary Friendship Group, where the cordial relationship between both countries was reaffirmed and discussions of peace ensued.

Discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including economic collaboration, culture, tourism, and research.

Anġlu Farrugia mphasised that while it is easy to choose the path of war, attaining peace requires commitment, dialogue, patience, and political will.

He stressed the important role that parliaments and political leaders must continue to play in promoting understanding and cooperation between peoples.

The Polish side was represented by Mr Tomasz Głogowski, Mr Marek Matuszewski, and Mr Michał Połuboczek, assisted by Mr Krzysztof Ziółkowski.
