Sliema Mayor Raises Concern Over 4am Disturbances

Taking to social media, Sliema mayor John Pillow shared a video of ‘unacceptable disturbances’ taking place in Għar il-Lembi Street, Sliema at around 4am.
Once again, wrote Pillow, ‘residents in Għar il-Lembi street are being disturbed in the early hours of the morning. At 04:10 people were still gathered, shouting, and creating noise in a residential area.’
‘This is unacceptable. Residents have every right to peace and rest in their own homes.’
‘I am calling on the authorities to take action, and I will personally be speaking once again to the management involved, as I have done before. This situation must stop.’
