Sliema Council Thanks Cleaners For Keep Streets Clean Everyday

The Sliema Local Council issued a post of thanks to the Cleansing and Maintenance Division workers for keeping the streets clean on a daily basis.

‘While most of Sliema is still asleep, the Cleansing and Maintenance Division is already hard at work carrying out the daily washing and cleaning of the Promenade’, the council explained.

‘Beginning in the early hours of the morning, these operations help ensure that one of Malta's busiest waterfronts remains clean, hygienic and welcoming for the thousands of residents and visitors who enjoy it every day.’

Sliema is of course not the only locality where the work is always ongoing, with workers making sure other areas around the island are kept clean, especially during the busy summer months.
