Sign Language Guide Set Up At Local School For Students

Speech therapist Lisa Abela set up a simple sign language guide for students returning to school at St Michael’s School.

The colourful chart shows the basic alphabet in sign language so that students can be able to learn the signs as they go along their day-to-day lessons.

‘Because communication is for everyone’, wrote Lisa. ‘Making sure our school is a space where every voice, spoken or signed, is valued.’
