Showers With Possible Thunder Expected To Hit Today And Last Till Tuesday

Malta is set for a cooler and unsettled start to the week, with showers and possible thunderstorms expected today and Monday, followed by isolated showers on Tuesday.
Today has already seen some rainfall, marking the first rain in around 100 days.
The weather is expected to remain unsettled, with temperatures reaching a high of 30°C and dropping to a low of 23°C overnight.
Winds will be light to moderate, shifting from northeasterly to easterly.
Monday will bring further showers, potentially accompanied by thunderstorms, with temperatures easing to a high of 27°C.
Winds will become moderate to rather strong from the east-northeast, reaching Force 5.
By Tuesday, isolated showers are expected, with a maximum temperature of 28°C and a minimum of 22°C. Northerly winds will remain moderate to rather strong.
The latest forecast marks a change from the sunny and hot conditions experienced earlier in September, when temperatures reached 32°C and the sea remained unusually warm at around 30°C.
