Showers And Stronger Winds Expected Across Malta This Weekend

Malta is expected to see partly to rather cloudy conditions across Saturday and Sunday, with showers possible from time to time, particularly during Saturday morning.

Saturday will start off with a light to moderate East-Northeasterly wind, before winds gradually ease as the day goes on.

Things are expected to get breezier again on Sunday, with winds picking up to moderate to rather strong levels.

Temperatures will remain relatively warm despite the unsettled weather, with daytime highs expected to range between 26°C and 29°C, while temperatures could drop to around 20°C overnight.

For comparison, the average maximum temperature for this time of year is around 28.6°C, while the average minimum sits at 21.2°C.

And despite summer officially being behind us, the sea is still feeling very summery.

Sea temperatures are currently sitting at around 28°C, approximately 2°C warmer than expected for September.

So while Saturday morning could bring some showers and Sunday may turn noticeably windier, temperatures are still set to remain comfortably warm throughout the weekend.
