Sharon Osbourne made her first red carpet appearance since the death of her husband Ozzy on Wednesday evening, stepping back into the spotlight with daughter Kelly by her side.

The emotional yet glamorous return took place at an exclusive London event hosted by Rebecca Vallance, held at the newly opened Aki London, a Maltese-owned Japanese restaurant that has quickly become one of the city’s buzziest dining hotspots.

Aki London is the latest international expansion from Malta’s DB Group, one of the island’s leading hospitality brands. The restaurant originally made its name in Valletta, Malta’s capital city, where it became known for its refined take on Japanese cuisine, artistic plating, and a sleek, moody aesthetic.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away aged 76 on July 22 due to cardiac arrest, leaving the music world and his family in deep mourning. Sharon, 73, has largely stayed out of the public eye since, making last night’s appearance especially meaningful.

Arriving at Aki London, Sharon stunned in a shimmering, floor-length red gown, holding tightly onto Kelly’s hand as photographers captured the moment. Kelly, 41, wore a pale pink halter-neck dress detailed with rhinestones, the pair showing a united front as they continue to navigate their loss. Kelly has previously shared that she slept in her parents’ bed for two months after Ozzy’s passing to comfort her mother.

The event drew a star-studded guest list, including Holly Valance, Amber Le Bon and Zara Tindall — all gathering inside Aki’s elegant, dim-lit interior, known for its luxurious design, premium sake selection, and standout dishes such as wagyu gyoza, miso black cod, and handcrafted sushi rolls.

Following Ozzy’s death, Sharon thanked fans for their overwhelming support, saying she is “still finding her footing.” Her appearance at Aki London, a rising star in the city's dining landscape, marks a heartfelt and glamorous step forward — set against the backdrop of a Maltese success story now thriving in the heart of London.
