Seventh Edition Of The Xlendi Sunset Festival Announced

Minister for Gozo and Planning, Clint Camilleri, has officially announced the seventh edition of the Xlendi Sunset Festival, which will be held on Saturday, 9 August 2025, from 8:30 pm onwards in Xlendi.

Minister Camilleri stated, “This festival has established itself as one of the most popular and eagerly anticipated events on Gozo’s summer calendar. It brings together families, young people, and tourists for a unique evening filled with culture, live music, and entertainment in a picturesque setting. As a Ministry, once again we are proud to support this festival through financial assistance, as part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen and create more opportunities for families and youth in Gozo.”

This year’s festival will feature performances by popular local artists, including Rebecca and the Passengers, Gianluca Bezzina, DJ Ryan Spiteri, and DJ MyKill.

The event is jointly organised by Munxar Falcons FC and the Pawlini Youth Section of Munxar (SZPM), two associations actively contributing to the Munxar community, who year after year continue to enrich the social and cultural life of the locality.

Also present was the Mayor of Munxar, Damien Spiteri, who encouraged the public to attend the event while praising the involvement of local volunteer groups and the financial support from the Ministry for Gozo and Planning and the Local Council.

Admission to the festival is free, and a complimentary park and ride service will be available to ensure the event is as accessible and convenient as possible for all attendees.

Minister Clint Camilleri concluded by encouraging everyone to attend this family-friendly festival, which will be held in a setting that is sure to make the experience memorable for all visitors. He also thanked the organisers, artists, and all volunteers involved, whose contributions help the festival continue to grow and achieve success year after year.
