Selfmade Market Returns To Valletta This Saturday With Local Artisans And Creatives

The Selfmade Market is set to return to Valletta on Saturday, 26th September, bringing together a selection of local and international artisans and creatives in the heart of the capital.

Pjazza Jean de La Valette will be transformed into a vibrant marketplace from 11am to 6pm, with visitors able to browse a range of handmade and self-designed products as part of the market’s end-of-summer edition.

Organised by Selfmade Malta, the event was founded by four local creatives: Jessica Magro of Carina Print and Designs, artist Johann Agius, and Nicole and Elenia Borg of Lincole Handmade, with the aim of providing emerging artists and makers with a platform to showcase and sell their work.

Following the success of six previous editions, this weekend’s market will feature a curated selection of original artwork, home décor, artisan jewellery, prints and other handcrafted goods.

The organisers said the initiative was born from a “shared passion for creativity” and a desire to bring local talent closer to the community, while creating opportunities for artists, makers and small businesses to reach new audiences.

The event is open to the public and offers visitors the chance to support local creatives while discovering unique, handmade pieces.
