Second Lieutenant Russell Bugeja Completes Commissioning Course At Sandhurst

The Armed Forces of Malta proudly congratulated Second Lieutenant Russell Bugeja on successfully completing the demanding 44-week Commissioning Course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom.

Throughout the course, he developed and demonstrated strong leadership, discipline, resilience and military skills, preparing him for the responsibilities of an Army Officer.

His outstanding performance was recognised with two distinguished honours, being the Cadet’s Cadet Award, recognising his leadership, character and commitment to Army Values, and the Commander’s Coin, personally presented by Brigadier Nicholas Wight-Boycott of The Royal Regiment of Scotland, recognising his dedication, determination and ability to lead by example.

Commissioned as an Officer, Second Lieutenant Bugeja now begins the next chapter of his military career, serving the Armed Forces of Malta and the Maltese people with professionalism, humility and distinction.
