Second Edition Of The Christmas Market At The Heart Of Valletta To Take Place This Year

The Valletta Local Council, in collaboration with Suq tal-Belt, will once again bring festive cheer to the capital with the second edition of the Christmas Market in the Heart of Valletta.

Taking place from the 6th to the 8th of December 2025, the event promises a lively celebration of tradition, craftsmanship, and community spirit.

This year’s market will feature a diverse selection of stalls offering locally made crafts, traditional Christmas treats such as imbuljuta and roasted chestnuts, and a variety of festive decorations.

Families and children can look forward to a full programme of entertainment and activities throughout the weekend. A special section will also be dedicated to young Valletta residents, giving them the opportunity to showcase their creativity through art and design.

Valletta Mayor Olaf McKay said the event aims to bring together “tradition, crafts, and the community,” describing it as the heart of the Christmas spirit in the capital. He also thanked Suq tal-Belt for its support in strengthening the city’s cultural identity and local economy.

Suq tal-Belt’s management added that they are proud to support an initiative that unites people through joy and tradition, helping to make Valletta come alive during the festive season.
